Thanksgiving
The cute turkey cookies that Carrie made.
David and Mark carving the turkey.
Justin loves celery and he just loved eating a big stick.
Grandma's pineapple turkey.
Super Saturday and Craft Night
So for our craft night in November we made rag wreaths and I
decided to make a Valentine's one since I already have a wreath for the other holidays.
I used 4 different patterns of fabric then we used pinking shears and cut them in strips and tie them onto a wire wreath. So easy and so cute.
For Super Saturday it was a little different this year and there were only 2 craft classes
and I taught 1 of them on how to make those accordion(sp?) style photo books.(sorry maybe picture later) Then there was a class to make these really cute wooden holiday blocks. I did the JOY,NOEL, and I still have to make the HARVEST one. I also bought an extra NOEL because the first one was for a gift, but I thought that since I already have a JOY and my house is so small I am going to make a LOVE for Valintine's instead.

Thanksgiving is upon us
Here is our turkey parade.Brent made all of the turkey's when he was little (except the last one i made last year) and his mom saved them and Justin and I made a new one to add for 2010. Next month you will get to see our reindeer parade.
Then there is my newest Thanskgiving decoration that I got at a craft show
and I just had to have it.

Halloween
Here are the Halloween pictures finally. Justin in his cute orange spider outfit,my pumpkin, trick or treating with daddy and of course our TMNT costumes.
Well Brent got there a little late and that is why his face is not painted.
So first I bought us all some stylish(lol) sweats from Salvation Army and then I made the rest with my sewing machine. For the front and back of the shell I made a pattern and then I stuffed them and hooked them together with elastic I also did the same thing with the knee pads. Then we have our masks but Justin did not like it so it became a bandana. The belts are elastic with wood circles for the buckle and velcro holds them on. Then our weapons we borrowed from Grandma J.
Well last year we were clowns and we won the costume contest at our ward party and yes you guessed it we won again.

Apple Orchard
Raspberry Jam
So even though it was raining and freezing my sister-in-law Kimberly and I decided to go to the Orchard and pick raspberries to make freezer jam. Of course we were the only crazy ones to brave the rain with our ponchos on and everything. We didn't end up picking as many as we would have liked to due to the bad weather. This was my first time making freezer jam and who knew it was so easy. We got 4 1/2 conatiners maybe next year we will be smart and go sooner in the season so that it is not so cold.
