4th of July

Well this year we had no plans for the 4th because Brent's family went to Cleveland. Then on Sunday at church some friends of ours who also are friends with Brent's sister Kimberly and her husband Ben invited us to hang out with them.
So we went to Brock's parents house and Brent and Justin swam in the pool and we had hamburgers and hot dogs and some really good potato salad made by one of the men there.

By the time we were leaving it was late and Justin fell asleep so we didn't go see any fireworks but the next day I ran to the store and bought some sparklers for us to do. Justin wasn't quite sure about them at first but then he got used to it and kept wanting more.

Brent was making shapes with the sparklers for Justin. Circle

triangle. On the trampoline.

Playing basketball in the pool.

Red Velvet cake pops that I mad for the R.S. girls night a couple days before the 4th.

Hot Air Balloon Festival

So we decided to try something new and we went to at Hot Air Balloon Festival that turned out to be really cool. There were so many different ones and Justin loved all of them. It was like a little fair with arts and craft vendors, lots of food, and rides but Justin was to short to go on any even with an adult bummer. We tried some great new foods and had a lot of fun.

Us with the balloons.

Watching the balloons with dad and Aunt Becca.

Justin and daddy watching the balloons go up.

Deep fried pickles with ranch and a deep fried twinkie with chocolate and marshmallow sauce.
The pickles were really good and Brent and Becca loved the twinkie.

Messy but delicious.

Big chair swing that Justin never wanted to get off of.

The skydiver and Brent as an astronaut.

Playing and swimming at Tracey's

We love going to our friend Tracey's and swimming in her pool and now she has a new swing set that Justin loves also.

Father's Day

We spent Father's Day at Brent's parents this year. His sister Becca wrote a song and played it on the guitar for her dad. It was suppose to be funny but of course it made both Brent's mom and I cry. We gave David a new outside thermometer and a toy car from Justin. Brent got a ladder ball set or as my family calls it Cowboy Golf.
